Tamarack Land Development, a leader in the residential land development sector, has hired Melanie Johns to serve as the company’s CFO. As Tamarack’s Chief Financial Officer, Melanie is responsible for maintaining and scaling the company’s rapidly growing platform. Melanie is a licensed CPA and began her career in the tax department of Arthur Andersen. She later transitioned into the commercial real estate sector and worked for several large multifamily housing developers including Trammell Crow, Gables, Cortland, and Carroll. These positions provided extensive experience in accounting software and systems, audit/tax compliance, financial reporting/planning, and investor relations. Throughout her career, Melanie has found she really appreciates the tangible aspect of the land development business and its promising investment opportunities. Development Activity Draws to a Close as Home-Building Continues
Harvest View is a 45-acre project in Rogers, MN developed by Tamarack Land Development. The neighborhood will be developed over two phases. The first phase began early this summer with the goal to provide land for a city neighborhood park that will be enjoyed by current area residents and their future neighbors in Harvest View and additional planned developments along Territorial Road.
Seventy-nine 55' lots for single-family homes are expected to be completed in December 2022 by Tamarack Land Development.
Tamarack Land Development has been hard at work this spring preparing the site for 55 new townhomes and 42 single family homes. Once completed, the neighborhood will have a dog park and paths that connect to schools and additional parks.
Our crews have been busy at work in Hunter Hills in Otsego, MN. This land development project will have 60 new lots ready for single-family homes; and 74 additional lots that will be finished by fall 2022.
Tamarack Land Development presents The Fields of Waconia, a 70-acre project on the western side of Waconia, Minnesota. Eighty-five single-family homes will be added in the first phase, and a total of 211 lots are planned to be developed over the course of three years.
